Course story

Fishers Island is reached by ferry and sits closer to Connecticut than to the rest of New York. Seth Raynor built the course in 1926 and it is generally considered his best, which is a significant claim given his body of work. The template holes he and Macdonald used throughout their careers appear here in their strongest settings, with Long Island Sound visible from most of the property and genuine elevation to work with. The club is small and quiet and the course rarely appears on television, which has done nothing to reduce its standing among people who pay attention to architecture.

Every print is made to order. Allow 2 to 5 business days for printing and framing, then 3 to 6 business days in transit. Larger sizes are packed in a rigid box and can take a little longer.

Returns
If a print arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 30 days with a photograph and we will replace it at no cost.
