Course story

Pete Dye was asked to build a course for spectators, so he raised mounds, cut sight lines and made the whole property a theatre. The 17th was reportedly an accident: the sand kept getting dug out of one spot until Dye's wife Alice suggested they simply surround what was left with water. It is barely more than a wedge, and it still collects golf balls by the thousand every year. The rest of the Stadium Course is harder and gets less credit. Railway sleepers, sharp angles and the kind of visual intimidation Dye specialised in. The 18th, with water the entire left side, has decided more tournaments than the island ever has.

Every print is made to order. Allow 2 to 5 business days for printing and framing, then 3 to 6 business days in transit. Larger sizes are packed in a rigid box and can take a little longer.

Returns
If a print arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 30 days with a photograph and we will replace it at no cost.

Because each piece is printed and framed to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If you are unsure about a size, the size comparison above is there to help, and you are welcome to ask before you buy.
